Fly, Fold, Learn.
Aerodynamics with James is a fun, hands-on app that teaches children how paper planes fly. Kids fold a paper plane step by step with an animated guide, then throw it with a swipe and watch it soar across the sky.
Aerodynamics with James is in testing on Google Play and is not publicly released yet.
Fold it, throw it, tinker with it and find out why it flew the way it did.
A slow, easy-to-copy animated guide shows every fold, step by step.
Swipe to throw, then try to beat your best flight across the sky.
Unlock different planes, each shown as its own folded shape.
Change wind, launch speed, wing lift and trick power, then see how the flight changes.
Planes can do loop-the-loops and other tricks in flight.
Slow the flight down, pause it, and see the forces at work.
Along the way, children discover push, lift, air push-back and gravity. Simple bars, a close-up of the plane and a “Why did it fly like that?” replay explain what is happening in plain, friendly language.
The throw that sends the plane forward.
The air flowing over the wings that holds the plane up.
The air pushing against the plane and slowing it down.
The pull that brings every plane back to the ground.
