Digital PA is designed as a privacy-first, offline-first application. Your data remains on your device by default, and you maintain control over when and how it is shared.

Introduction

Digital PA ("the App," "we," "us," or "our") is a product of DynamoLabs. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and share your information when you use our application.

Information We Collect

Directly from you: calendar sign-in via secure OAuth (we never see your password), calendar data, contact information, project and task data, Quick Capture text/voice/photos, and your app preferences.

Generated by the app: notification identifiers and your device's time zone and locale, used only to display times and reminders correctly.

From linked accounts: when you connect Exchange or Google, we retrieve calendar events, contacts, and authentication info — never entire mailboxes or attachments.

How We Use Your Information

To display and sync your calendars, meetings, contacts, and tasks, generate reminders, and detect scheduling conflicts.

If you opt in to AI features, meeting details, Quick Capture text/photos, and meeting transcripts may be sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate briefings, categorise captures, and summarise meetings. Voice recordings are transcribed entirely on your device and never uploaded. AI features are entirely optional and off by default.

Data Storage & Security

All user data is stored in a local database on your device. Sensitive credentials (sign-in tokens, API keys) are kept in your device's secure storage (Keychain, Keystore, or the Windows equivalent) and never transmitted except to their respective provider. Your Exchange or Google password is never stored.

Data Sharing

We share data only with services you explicitly authorize: Microsoft Exchange and Google Calendar/Contacts (for sync), and Anthropic (Claude AI, only if you opt in to AI features).

We do not sell, trade, or share your data with advertisers, marketing companies, data brokers, or any other third party.

Data Retention & Deletion

Data on your device is retained as long as the app is installed. You can delete individual items at any time, export your data as a backup, or clear everything by uninstalling the app.

Your Rights & Choices

You can access and export your data, and disable AI features or any third-party integration at any time — core functionality remains fully available without them.

If you're in the EU or another region with data protection regulations, you have the right to request access, correction, deletion, or portability of your data, and to withdraw consent at any time.

Children's Privacy

Digital PA is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and will delete any such data if we become aware of it.

Third-Party Services

This app connects to third-party services (Exchange, Google Calendar/Contacts, Anthropic). We are not responsible for their privacy practices — please review their policies independently.

Data Breach Notification

In the event of a security breach affecting your data, we will notify you without undue delay, describe the breach and protective steps, and cooperate with law enforcement as required.

Updates to This Policy

Material changes will be communicated via an in-app notification, by email if provided, and reflected in the "Last Updated" date above.
